Job summary

• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication with channel teams, Buying, and Fashion, Home & Beauty partners.
• Clear, confident, and persuasive communication skills.
• Ability to present insights, recommend actions, and adapt messaging to different audiences.
• Proficiency with merchandising and planning systems including MFP, WSSI, OTB, and dashboards.
• Robust understanding of retail KPIs including sell-through, intake, terminal stock, margin, and rate of sale.
• Ability to use retail KPIs to optimise sales, protect profit, and shape future seasonal planning.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and re-forecast the WSSI using channel-led metrics and identify risks and opportunities.
• Manage the Retail sales budget with MFP to own an OTB aligned with the commercial plan.
• Analyse forward seasonal buys and influence channels to optimise trade and maximise sales.
• Drive the weekly trade using data-driven insights to identify risks and opportunities.
• Champion efficient ways of working and support process consistency across merchandising teams.
• Guide Assistant Merchandisers where needed.
• Support planning, forecasting, in-season trading, capacity planning, and commercial plan delivery.
• Use retail KPIs and data insights to optimise sales and protect margin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and keep the critical path on track.
