Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser to join our team. Within this role, you will support in planning and delivering profitable, customer-focused ranges. Provide recommendations for the right stock at the right time with the right styles and options for the customer. You will support, coach, and mentor your team.

Location: 3 - 4 days per week based at our North Acton Office.

What You Will Do

1. Create and develop the product planning strategy for the department.
2. Collate and analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks to plan the range architecture.
3. Review size analysis and analyse market trends across product ranges.
4. Ensure range appeal across all markets through attribute and pricing architecture.
5. Optimise, plan, and build range size and newness phasing always considering "think customer first".
6. Confidently present financial KPIs, demand phasing, and OTB spend.
7. Collaboratively present buy quantities supported with ROS and hind sighting validation.
8. With PD sign-off, plan, review, and hand over buy quantities, core and fabric production forecasts.
9. Collate, analyse, and update planning packs with historical data including ROS.
10. Lead and present weekly trade reviews.
11. Drive trade and optimise sales with agility, identifying risks and opportunities.
12. Identify daily, weekly, and monthly sales, stock, and BTA risks and opportunities.
13. Manage stock risks and opportunities.
14. Manage WSSI including monthly reforecasting.
15. Propose and manage markdowns.
16. Manage terminal stock, seeking the best routes to clear internal and external stock.
