The Junior Merchandiser role sits in our Product/Merchandising team in Leeds. You will help plan strategies, analyse sales data, manage stock, and support timely product launches, collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as an established Assistant Merchandiser, Junior Merchandiser or similar.
• Strong computer literacy—especially in Excel.
• Analytical skills—confident in working with and extracting insight from data.
• Strong decision making, time management skills and able to prioritise workload.
• Good commercial knowledge—specifically on wider marketplace and broader business.
• Team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop Merchandising strategies that balance customer expectation and profitability alongside our rapid expansion plan.
• Support with implementing new procedures and processes alongside the Senior Merchandising Team.
• Partake in the analysis and reporting of current sales data, customer reactions and channel trends to anticipate product needs and plan future ranges and stock.
• Help build and maintain a comprehensive library of historical data.
• Work to key performance indicators to optimise sales volume and profitability of designated product areas.
• Pro-active involvement with planning future ranges with the wider product team.
• Monitor slow sellers and propose price reductions including end-of-season sale plans.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Operations & Logistics to ensure timely onboarding and arrival of stock with our partners.
• Set department strategy and framework to ensure a balanced and commercial product range.
• Support the merchandiser on maintaining department stock plans and re-forecasting monthly.
• Proactively analyse sales data and trends to influence buying decisions.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as Junior Merchandiser working in Leeds as part of our Product/ Merchandising team.

Role Responsibilities:

• Help to plan and develop Merchandising strategies that balance customer expectation & profitability alongside our rapid expansion plan
• Support with implementing new procedures and processes alongside the Senior Merchandising Team
• Partake in the analysis & reporting of current sales data, customers reactions and channel trends in order to anticipate product needs and plan future ranges & stock
• Help build & maintain a comprehensive library of historical data
• Work to key performance indicators helping to optimise the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas according to the business plan
• Pro-active involvement with planning future ranges in conjunction with wider product team.
• Actively involved with the monitoring of slow sellers & proposal of price reductions as necessary including the roll-up of mid and end-of-season sale plans
• Work collaboratively with the team helping to monitor stock movement and help propose intake re-phasing as necessary based on the forward seasonal plan
• Collaboratively work with the wider Merchandising, Operations & Logistics teams to ensure timely onboarding & arrival of stock with our various partners
• Set the department strategy and option framework to ensure a balanced and commercial product range
• Support the merchandiser on maintaining department WSSIs, stock and sales plans, ensuring stock is managed to targets
• Take full ownership of departmental line cards, re-forecasting on a monthly basis and building out future sales plans
• Proactively analyse sales data and trends and use data to influence decisions in buying meetings
• Proactively monitor sales and stock in order to take action to optimise sales and margin performance - ensuring team react to sales trend
• Manage order placement and intake to ensure on time product launches and awareness of product lead times, to maximise trading opportunities
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to enable flexibility and trading
• Take full ownership of critical paths and communicate key issues to the wider team.

About You:
