Job summary

Involve Recruitment is seeking a Junior Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing mechanical contractor based in Nottingham. You will support experienced PMs across refurbishment and new-build projects, with hands-on learning and opportunities to progress your own projects.

You will work alongside Directors to gain experience from pre-construction through to completion, with on-the-job mentoring and a clear path to professional qualifications as you develop.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Mechanical Project Manager to join an established and growing Mechanical Contractor based in Nottingham

The successful inidiividual will work alongside experienced Project Managers and Directors, gaining hands on experience delivering mechanical projects across a range of industrial refurbishment and new-build developments throughout the Midlands and London.

The Role

Working as part of the project delivery team, you will gradually take responsibility for supporting and managing mechanical works from pre-construction through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the planning and delivery of mechanical projects.

About You

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual who is keen to develop a career within mechanical construction and project management.

You may already have some experience within the mechanical building services or construction sector, or you could be a recent graduate/apprentice looking for the right company to develop your career.

Ideally, you will have:

• An interest in mechanical engineering, building services or construction.
• Some experience within a mechanical contracting or construction environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A willingness to learn and take responsibility.
• Good attention to detail.
• The confidence to communicate with clients, subcontractors and colleagues.
• A full UK driving licence, or be working towards one.
