Junior Maintenance Engineer

£32,931 + Uncapped Overtime + Training

Wellington, Taunton

Are you a Junior Maintenance Engineer, Trainee Maintenance Engineer, Apprentice Engineer, or similar with mechanical skill and an interest in building a career in a manufacturing environment, with an established company offering excellent training and the chance to develop into a skilled Maintenance Engineer?

On offer is the opportunity to join an established manufacturing business where you will receive hands-on training to build your skills across production machinery, maintenance, and site equipment. You will work alongside experienced engineers, learning how to support production and keep machinery running safely and efficiently.

In this varied role, you will perform planned preventative maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, machinery installations, and general maintenance tasks across production machinery and site equipment. You will be trained on the company's specialist machinery while working closely with production teams and senior engineers to minimise downtime and support the smooth running of the site.

This role would suit someone with mechanical experience or a manufacturing background who is looking for a Monday to Friday role, training, uncapped overtime at enhanced rates, and the opportunity to build a long‑term career as a Maintenance Engineer.

The Role:

• Assisting with planned preventative maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, and machinery installations
• Training on production machinery, site equipment, and general maintenance tasks
• Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm, with uncapped enhanced overtime available

The Person:

• Junior Maintenance Engineer, Trainee Maintenance Engineer, Apprentice Engineer or similar
• Mechanically Biased with an interest in manufacturing or production machinery
• Commutable to Wellington
