A leading engineering firm in the UK seeks a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to support design, compliance, and documentation for specialized projects in sectors like nuclear and defense. £30,000 - £35,000 per annum + Bonus + Hybrid working + Flexible hours + Chartership
Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours

Are you a Junior Engineer with ambitions to develop into a Senior Mechanical Design engineer within a highly regulated and technically interesting sector? Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a junior design engineer to join the team at their facility in Abingdon. The successful applicant will be joining an experienced design team and will gain exposure to highly regulated sectors such as nuclear and defence. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that prioritises employee retention, training and development, whilst offering a clear pathway and support to reach chartered status if desired.
We are looking for a junior engineer with CAD experience that has ambition to progress in their career, within a first-class engineering organisation. You will be working for a well-established and highly profitable SME that supports a range of blue-chip customers. Full industry training will be provided with a view to moving into a senior role within the department.
