Job summary

Qualifications

• Able to analyse financial information and identify key points or discrepancies.
• Practical approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
• Capable of meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Assist with budgets and forecasts alongside senior finance team members.
• Complete monthly reconciliations, including nominal and intercompany accounts.
• Prepare accruals, prepayments and fixed asset schedules.
• Process month-end journals.
• Assist with VAT and regulatory returns.
• Review ledger processing and maintain accuracy of financial records.
• Produce cost analysis and contribute to financial commentary.
• Prepare and maintain rolling cash-flow forecasts.
• Handle large datasets and present findings clearly.
• Provide general finance support and assist with ad-hoc projects.
