This role could be based in either of the Kings Langley or Guildford offices.
Job Purpose
The UK & I Asset Management department is a growing team whose sole purpose is to deliver financial support services under Management Service Agreements (MSAs) across multiple clients owning renewable assets including onshore Wind Farms, Solar Farms, and storage farms.
The team acts as an outsourced finance business partnership, providing services such as monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasts, distribution calculations, annual budget preparation, bank loan compliance, financial statement preparation, audit management, and tax return oversight. Maintaining a strong control environment and professional scepticism throughout the team and processes is essential.
The business is rapidly growing, requiring an individual who can adapt quickly to changing priorities and ensure that their portfolio of legal entities receives quality service. The AM Finance department manages over 150 companies with a team of 22 across 12 clients. An additional junior management accountant is needed to handle day-to-day financial activities of a subset of entities, including reporting to stakeholders and external clients, ensuring timely completion of management accounts, statutory accounts, and compliance with standards such as IFRS, FRS 101, and FRS 102.
Organisational Context
The Asset Management department oversees wind farms, solar, and storage plants in the UK and Ireland, providing technical, financial, and commercial asset management services. The finance team ensures compliance and supports the wider Asset Management team.
