Junior Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)

£35,000 - £38,000 (42.5K OTE) + Training + Progression + Days Only + Overtime + Company Benefits

Are you an Apprentice Trained or Junior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a role where no two days will be the same, working on a mix of new and old technology?

Do you want 1-on-1 training from senior members of the team to enhance your skillset and become recognised as a technical expert?

On offer is the opportunity to join a globally recognised company that are pioneers in their niche. Established over century ago, this company have gone from strength to strength in recent years consistently increasing their annual revenue and organically growing their workforce. They are looking to continue this by developing the next of mechanical engineers.

In this role you will be working at height carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on bespoke mechanical equipment. You will receive full training through shadowing from experienced engineers allowing you to fully develop a unique skillset. You will be working a 5-day rota, including weekends, while being rewarded with generous overtime.

This role would suit an NVQ qualified or Junior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for 1-on-1 training from senior Engineers to become recognised as a technical expert.

The Role:

• Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance on bespoke mechanical equipment




• 5 day working week, 7:30am - 3:30pm with occasional weekend work




• Overtime paid at 1.5x




• 1 in 5 call out rota

The Person:

• Junior Maintenance Engineer




• Mechanical background




• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Maintenance, Land-based Engineering or similar




• Comfortable working at heights
