A GBP 30,000 to A GBP 40,000 DOE + Company Pension + Onsite Parking + Cycle to Work Scheme

4 On 4 Off (6:6, 2 Days, 2 Nights)

Junior Maintenance Engineer required for a market leading company that has quickly grown to become a true industry leader. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, family-run business offering extensive training.

This role is suited for candidates who are electrically qualified and seeking to progress into a multi-skilled maintenance engineer position.

Joining an existing team of eight, the Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical pre-planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on a range of production equipment.

The Junior Maintenance Engineer Role

1. Perform preventative and reactive maintenance
2. Electrical maintenance: PLC-controlled switchgear, inverter-controlled drives, solenoids, and limit switches
3. Mechanical maintenance: conveyors, elevators, compressors, hammermill grinders, pellet presses, etc.
4. Work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern: 2 days, 2 nights
