Job summary

Liverpool City Council is seeking a Junior M365 Developer to join its Digital Technology Team. You will help design, build, test and support Microsoft 365 solutions across City Council services, using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Online and Teams to meet resident and staff needs.

The role offers hands-on development, collaboration with analysts and ICT colleagues, and opportunities to grow technical skills within an experienced team.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365 platforms and development tools.
• Ability to design, build, test and maintain M365 solutions.
• Willingness to learn and work with SharePoint Online and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Support M365 development activity – Design, build, test and maintain Microsoft 365 solutions that meet user and service needs.
• Develop and improve applications – Work with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams to support new and existing solutions.
• Follow agreed standards – Apply development, testing, security and governance standards, asking for guidance where needed.
• Support and maintain existing solutions – Investigate issues, support fixes and contribute to improvements that make M365 solutions reliable, consistent and easy to maintain.
• Work with others – Collaborate with developers, business analysts, testers, ICT colleagues and service areas to understand requirements and support successful delivery.
• Learn and develop – Build your skills through hands‑on experience, feedback and support from experienced developers and technical leads.
