Job description

Join our team as a Junior Land Surveyor and work on some of the largest UK construction projects. Responsibilities

1. Use modern survey methods and devices such as total stations, GNSS, and data collectors.
2. Set out for various trades in construction.
3. Establish survey controls, set out gridlines, level, traverse, and perform land surveying tasks.
4. Resolve unexpected site issues with team and management support.
5. Accurately record survey data on-site according to specifications.
6. Process field data into office software like AutoCAD.
7. Assist with detailed field and office surveying assignments.
8. Check the quality of data collected and ensure successful delivery.
9. Maintain survey equipment properly.
10. Follow company policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.

Requirements

1. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and prioritize tasks.
2. Multi-tasking, adaptability, and team contribution skills.
3. Surveying experience.
4. Willingness to travel nationwide.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
6. Full UK manual driving license.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. RICS/ICES qualification.
9. UAV/Drone experience.
10. Degree in a survey-related field.
11. CSCS Card (required before starting).
12. Knowledge of N4CE software or similar.
13. Experience with laser scanning, point cloud registration, and BIM workflows.
14. Monitoring experience.
15. Flexible working options post-probation.
