Join the team as a Junior Land Surveyor in our growing business, offering exciting opportunities to work on some of the largest UK construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Working with modern survey methods and devices such as total stations, GNSS, and data collectors
• Setting out for different trades in construction
• Establishing survey controls, setting out gridlines, levelling, traversing, and other land surveying work
• Resolving unexpected site issues with team and management support
• Accurately recording surveying information on site according to specifications
• Processing field data into the office, including post-processing with software like AutoCAD
• Assisting with detailed field and office surveying assignments
• Checking the quality of collected information and ensuring successful transition to deliverables
• Maintaining survey equipment properly
• Adhering to company policies, procedures, standards, and best practices

Requirements

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment, prioritizing workloads effectively
• Multi-tasking, adaptability, and team collaboration skills
• Surveying experience
• Willingness to travel nationwide to sites
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members
• Full UK manual driving license
• Excellent communication skills for working with stakeholders

Desirables

• RICS/ICES qualification
• UAV/Drones experience
• University degree in a survey-related field
• CSCS card (required before starting)
• N4CE software knowledge or experience
• Laser scanning and BIM workflow experience
• Monitoring experience
