Candidates should have GCSEs in Maths and English, a passion for technology, and experience with assembling computer systems. A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset and reliability are valued, with a Monday–Friday day schedule and salary £18,000–£22,000.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English are required.
• Demonstrated passion for technology and computing.
• Experience building computer systems, either as a hobby or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of computer components and compatibility.
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive work ethic.
• Takes pride in completing work to a high standard.
• Good problem solving and time keeping.
• Previous IT experience encouraged – not essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle products from Desktops, Laptops, Servers, Switches, TVs, Monitors and Soundbars.
• Safely store received items and ensure correct placement.
• Inspect products for damage, discrepancies and quality issues.
• Test components and add them to inventory.
• Build, test and configure computer systems.
• Update firmware, software and outdated systems.
• Refresh systems and procedures to capture knowledge.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow ESD procedures.
• Operate stock management systems and process goods in/out.
• Adhere to quality, environmental, health and safety procedures.
