Job summary

Additional Resources is seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer to join their global team. You will support users across office and vessel locations, handling IT queries, setting up devices, and assisting with network and system issues to ensure smooth operations.

The role offers exposure to a range of technologies and a path to develop your IT support career within a multinational environment.

Qualifications

Experience in IT Support, Helpdesk or Desktop Support.
Knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Understanding of Active Directory user administration.
Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and network troubleshooting.
Experience supporting printers and peripheral devices.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Act as first point of contact for IT queries and incidents.
Provide technical assistance across office and vessel environments.
Set up, configure and maintain laptops, desktops, VMs, printers and mobile devices.
Support Windows 10/11, troubleshoot configuration issues.
Manage user accounts and access requests using Active Directory.
Provide remote support using appropriate tools.
Maintain asset information and update documentation.
Monitor equipment performance and assist with system reliability.
Support hardware deployments and upgrades.
Escalate complex issues and coordinate with vendors.
Adhere to IT policies and cybersecurity procedures.
Support IT projects as required.
