Junior IT Field Engineer

Salary: Up to £25,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card + Paid Overtime

Location: Chelmsford Area

The Company:

A global software company providing cutting-edge technology to the education sector is currently expanding its field service team, responsible for their modern payment platform. With a growing number of accounts nationwide, they are seeking a motivated candidate to join their team.

The Role:

Your responsibilities will include visiting customer sites to maintain and install equipment, including software upgrades, hardware installation, cabling, and more. This role offers a great opportunity for a junior candidate to start a career in technology, with progression opportunities to become a Senior Engineer and lead projects.

Requirements:

• General knowledge of IT systems (software installs, network connectivity, Microsoft and Windows OS)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
• Strong customer service orientation for providing timely and effective support
• Valid UK driving license for travel to various sites
• Clear DBS check due to work in educational environments
