Job summary

0026 Checkout Technology Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic IT Engineer to join their Engineering team in Greater London. This entry-level role focuses on delivering essential IT services and developing foundational skills in managing enterprise-scale IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities include supporting identity management, platform maintenance, endpoint management, and participating in automation efforts alongside Senior Engineers. The hybrid working model offers three days a week in the office and encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• A relevant technical degree, completion of a technical bootcamp, or equivalent hands‑on experience in a junior technical role.
• Exposure to or a strong interest in learning scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Basic experience using Jira and Confluence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day administration of Okta.
• Support administration of Jira and Confluence.
• Provide technical support for macOS and Windows endpoints.
• Help maintain existing automation scripts.
• Act as the first technical point of contact for IT issues.
• Assist in lifecycle management of hardware and software.
• Create and update technical documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and team ceremonies.
