Job summary

Checkout.com is seeking an IT Engineer II to join our Engineering team in London. You will lead the delivery of IT services and small to medium projects, acting as an owner-operator for the systems within your area.

You’ll work on Atlassian administration (Jira, Confluence), endpoint policy management (Jamf, Intune), and incident response, mentoring junior engineers and driving automation with Python/PowerShell.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in IT Engineering or similar role.
• Experience with Identity Providers (Okta, Azure AD) and protocols like SAML and SCIM.
• Advanced Atlassian skills with Jira configurations, workflows, and permissions.
• Ownership mindset and strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead project-level work with minimal guidance.
• Administer Jira and Confluence at a high level.
• Support macOS and Windows endpoints with Jamf and Intune.
• Provide operational support for team-owned services and mentor others.
• Respond to incidents with urgency and problem-solving.
• Identify automation opportunities using Python/PowerShell.
