Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join its growing IT function in the United Kingdom. This hands-on role focuses on modernising identity platforms, enabling secure access across a global environment, and supporting a major IAM transformation programme.

You will work with infrastructure, security, architecture and applications teams, administer Okta, AD and Entra ID, implement SSO/MFA, and contribute to policy and governance while

Qualifications

• Experience administering Identity & Access Management platforms in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer IAM platforms including Okta, Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Support a major IAM transformation programme and migration activities.
• Configure and maintain SSO, MFA, and SCIM provisioning for applications.
• Integrate cloud/SaaS apps using SAML, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Manage user lifecycle processes including onboarding and offboarding.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Architecture and Application teams.
• Coordinate with external managed service providers and vendors.
• Maintain development, test and production IAM environments.
• Contribute to authentication policy improvements and conditional access.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Identify ways to improve end-user authentication experience.
• Support governance initiatives and IAM standards.
