Job summary

Flogas is expanding its team with a Fulfilment Technician role. You’ll be trained to install and repair telemetry equipment, conduct site surveys, and support gas technicians while helping customers move toward renewable energy solutions.

The role includes occasional nights away from home as part of the academy training. You’ll learn industry codes, handle paperwork accurately, and manage stock while servicing domestic and commercial sites across the country.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Experience using common hand tools and small power tools.
• Strong communication and accuracy for field paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Learn LGUK Codes of Practice for siting gas vessels.
• Training at the training academy (occasional nights away).
• Interact with Domestic and Commercial customers on sites with clear communication.
• Carry out non-gas related repairs on customer sites and complete paperwork accurately.
• Control stock of telemetry units and follow related processes.
• Be prepared to spend time away from home Mon–Thu when needed.

How you’ll power our business as a Fulfilment Technician

As a Fulfilment Technician, you will be trained to carry out telemetry installations & repairs, statutory maintenance, repairs, fault diagnosis, site surveys and occasionally assist the Gas Technicians to install & maintain bulk LPG vessels.

We’re already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas. Here what you'll be doing

To learn LGUK Codes of Practice reference siting of gas vessels.

To undergo training at our training academy, this will include nights away from home occasionally.

Have good communications skills as you could interact with both Domestic and Commercial customers when on their sites.

To carry out repairs (non-gas related) on customers’ sites and complete paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.

To control stock of telemetry units and follow associated processes.

Willing to spend time away from home to support resolution of defects in other areas (this will only happen on a few occasions over the year and be restricted to Monday to Thursday.

What we’ll need from you

Driving license (no more than 6 penalty points)

Comfortable using a variety of hand tools and smaller power tools

Accuracy, both in terms of work completed in the field, paperwork submitted and stock control processes (using tablet or laptop).

Good communication skills – you will be representing Flogas on customer sites
