Job summary

UKSBS is seeking a Junior HR SME to join our HR Operations or Onboarding functions in Swindon, Newport, or Stockton-on-Tees. The role focuses on delivering high-quality HR services, onboarding tasks, and change initiatives, with expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite.

You will work as a deputy to SMEs, share knowledge, and coach team members while supporting continuous improvement and reporting for clients and managers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable work experience across HR processes including joiners, movers, leavers, and onboarding.
• Customer-focused with proactive, solutions-driven approach.
• Ability to resolve complex HR queries effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality HR services and meet SLA targets.
• Share expert advice on HR processes and procedures under SME guidance.
• Participate in project work and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Update desk notes, training materials and knowledge base as processes evolve.
• Deputise for SMEs when required and mentor junior team members.
• Raise service delivery risks and propose practical solutions.
• Produce reports and present information to managers and clients.
• Support audits of service delivery and information management.
• Promote an inclusive, customer-centric team culture.
• Coach and induct new colleagues to share knowledge.
