Job description

Artis HR is supporting a business with the appointment of a Junior People & Culture Partner. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor looking to take the next step in their career, with the autonomy to manage a broad HR remit, build strong relationships with managers and get involved in wider people initiatives.

Working closely with managers and site leads, you'll provide hands-on HR support while getting involved in wider people initiatives and workforce planning. It's a varied role for someone who enjoys being close to the business, taking ownership and making a genuine impact.

The role
  • Take ownership of a broad range of employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management.
  • Provide practical, commercially minded HR advice and guidance to managers across the employee lifecycle.
  • Build trusted relationships with managers and site leads, helping them develop their confidence and capability in people management.
  • Support recruitment, talent, employee engagement and wider people initiatives.
  • Contribute to organisational change, workforce planning and longer-term people strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, policies and the overall employee experience.
  • Use people data and insights to help inform decisions and support business objectives.
About you
  • You’ll have experience in a hands-on HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor role, with a strong grounding in employee relations.
  • You’re confident managing ER cases with a good level of autonomy and know when to escape more complex matters.
  • You’re comfortable working closely with managers and operational teams, building relationships and providing practical advice.
  • You enjoy a varied generalist role and are keen to develop your exposure to the more strategic side of HR.
  • You’ll ideally have experience in a more operational, site-based or less corporate environment.
  • You’ll have strong communication skills, sound employment law knowledge and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK are essential.
What’s on offer?
  • Salary of up to 45,000.
  • A Bristol-based role with two days per week in the office.
  • Monthly travel to the Cornwall site, offering the opportunity to build relationships with teams on the ground.
  • A high level of autonomy and the opportunity to take ownership of your work.
  • The chance to step up from an HR Advisor role and develop your business partnering, workforce planning and wider people strategy experience.
