Job summary

Boels Rental in the United Kingdom is seeking a part-time HR Advisor to provide hands-on Employee Relations support, ensuring policies and practices comply with UK employment law. The role covers 27 depots and 200+ colleagues across the UK, working closely with the UK HR Business Partner to tackle HR challenges and implement practical solutions.

You will visit depots as needed, offer clear guidance, and help drive change within a collaborative HR team.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR Business Partner in all aspects of Employee Relations (ER), providing hands-on HR advice and guidance to colleagues and managers
• Help ensure HR policies, processes and practices comply with UK employment law and regulations
• Monitor legal changes and assess their impact on HR processes and policies
• Support HR matters across 27 depots and 200+ colleagues throughout the UK
• Work closely with the UK HR Business Partner to address HR challenges and represent HR in the business
• Visit depots when required to provide direct support to managers and colleagues
• Analyse HR issues, identify priorities and develop practical solutions that make a difference
• Contribute to a collaborative HR team by communicating confidently, giving clear advice and supporting colleagues through change

Job description

This role is part time, working 3 days, and 22.5 hours per week - 8am to 4pm.
