Job summary

Ashridge House is seeking a Junior Gardener/Gardener to join the garden team and assist in maintaining the Grade II* historic grounds, including lawns, hedges, propagation, pruning, and day-to-day grounds care.

The role requires gardening experience and comfort with a range of garden machinery, with a passion for high standards in a dynamic, weather-facing setting. You will work both independently and with the team.

Awonderfulopportunity hasarisenfor a keen gardenertoworkwith thegarden’steam at Ashridge House.You will gain hands on experience ofmaintainingandrestoring thebeautiful,GradeII*,historic grounds.Therole will consist of all aspects of grounds maintenance varying from:lawn maintenance, hedge cutting,propagation,pruningand general day to daygrounds maintenance.

We are looking for someone withgardeningexperiencewho isconfident in the use of a variety of garden machinery.The right candidate should have apassion for gardening and enjoy working at a lively pace withaneye for detail and should be excited to work in acreative,flexibleenvironmentin all weathers.
