St. James's Place in Cirencester is seeking an entry-level Financial Reporting Administrator to join the Financial Reporting team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This junior role offers full training and exposure to reporting processes, reconciliations, and statutory accounts preparation within a supportive environment. You will contribute to management accounts, regulatory returns, and finance projects while developing your skills with oversight from a proactive team.

Qualifications

• Basic accounting and finance process knowledge.
• Understanding of statutory accounting principles.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using finance systems/ERP.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Quick learner in a fast-paced environment.
• Finance industry experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare supporting working papers and financial documentation.
• Match invoices to receipts and perform reconciliations.
• Post financial journals as required.
• Support intercompany settlements and transactions.
• Assist with preparation of management accounts.
• Compile and maintain finance controls documentation.
• Assist with statutory accounts preparation and submission.
• Contribute to regulatory returns and finance projects.
• Support process improvements and ad hoc finance activities.
• Manage high volumes of invoice processing with accuracy.
