Job summary

Fort Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Field Engineer to install and configure sensors and monitoring equipment on the Water Industry network. You will receive full training, a company vehicle, and the tools required to perform the role while progressing through specialist areas of the business.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a starting salary of £28,700 per year (area weighting) and a progression path to £34,100 during training.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence is essential.
• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn quickly during training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers/clients.

Responsibilities

• Drive between sites to install sensors and monitoring equipment.
• Install and maintain sensors and instrumentation on wastewater network.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and in confined spaces when required.
• Follow safety protocols and operate with professional conduct on site.
