Job summary

Fort Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Field Engineer (Water Industry) to install and configure monitoring equipment and repair and maintain valves on the clean water network. The role includes a fully expensed company vehicle, full training, and progression opportunities with salary starting at £29,700 per year and rising to £34,100 during training.

Working full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, you will drive between sites, handle equipment, and work outdoors, with all necessary tools

Qualifications

• Full driving licence for manual gears is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong work ethic with a desire to learn quickly during training.
• No prior sector experience is necessary as full training is provided.
• Relevant academic qualifications (BTEC Engineering or BTEC Electrical) are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive between sites and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Lift, carry and move equipment and chamber covers.
• Enter and work within confined spaces.
• Install and maintain a variety of mechanical and electrical instrumentation.
