Fort Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Field Engineer (Water Industry) to install and configure monitoring equipment, and to repair and maintain valves on the clean water network in the region. This is a full-time permanent role with a fully expensed company vehicle and all necessary tools and equipment provided.

The position offers 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri), full training and certifications, and excellent progression prospects within a vital industry.

Qualifikationen

• Full driving licence for manual gears is essential.
• No prior sector experience is necessary as all training will be provided.
• Previous electrical or mechanical experience is advantageous.
• Experience as a field engineer is useful.
• Relevant academic qualifications such as BTEC Engineering or BTEC Electrical are advantageous.
• Strong work ethic and quick-learning during training are essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers/clients is important.
• Flexibility to meet business needs.

Aufgaben

• Travel between sites, driving to sites and working outdoors in all weather.
• Lift, carry and move equipment and chamber covers.
• Enter and work within confined spaces.
• Install and maintain various mechanical and electrical instrumentation.
