Job summary

Bite Talent is partnering with a premium drinks brand to recruit an Assistant Events Manager in London. You will own events from start to finish, from trade shows to brand activations, coffee experiences and internal events.

You’ll manage suppliers, agencies and internal teams, stay ten steps ahead, and be on-site building stands and back bars. Some travel across the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as an Events Coordinator, Assistant or Supervisor and be looking to progress your career.
• Experience in food & beverage, drinks, FMCG, hospitality, venues or event agencies is preferred.
• Know your way around setup/breakdown and enjoy hands-on event work.
• Organised and confident managing budgets, POs, contracts and event admin.
• Energetic, outgoing and full of ideas; able to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Own events from start to finish across trade shows, brand activations, coffee and festival-style experiences and internal events.
• Be the go-to contact for suppliers, agencies and internal teams before, during and after every event; on-site coordination of builds and stands.
• Build stands, set up back bars and ensure smooth delivery at events.

I'm working with a family-owned, globally recognised premium drinks brand, and they're looking for an Assistant Events Manager to join their team in London.

Bartenders and baristas worldwide trust this brand, and it has delivered double-digit growth year after year. Events are at the heart of how it comes to life. You will own events from start to finish, across trade shows, brand activations, coffee and festival-style experiences and internal events. You'll be the go-to contact for suppliers, agencies and internal teams before, during and after every event, and you'll be right there on-site building stands, setting up back bars and making sure it all lands.

This is not a role for someone who panics when a supplier drops out the night before.

They want someone who thinks ten steps ahead, always has a plan B, and stays cool, calm and professional when things change. Someone with energy, ideas and confidence, who is as comfortable working the room at an industry show as they are building a budget tracker.
