Job summary

Tempest Vane Partners in London is seeking a Junior EUC Engineer to join its technology team. You will work with traders and portfolio managers while developing towards infrastructure, automation and platform engineering.

This role starts with hands-on EUC and desktop support, then exposure to PowerShell, Python, IaC, Linux, Kubernetes, cloud and AI, with a focus on automating tasks and reducing operational toil.

Qualifications

• Mentored or educated in technology with curiosity and potential.
• Graduate, junior engineer or 0–2 years experience; degree not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support traders, portfolio managers and business users.
• Troubleshoot Windows, hardware, software and infrastructure issues.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Python or similar.
• Build scripts, tools and solutions to improve the user experience.
• Contribute to infrastructure and automation projects.
• Gain exposure to IaC, Linux, Kubernetes and cloud technologies.
