Job summary

You will collate tender documents, measure drawings, and gather market rates to prepare bills of quantities for client submissions. Training will be provided to develop essential estimating skills.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or 1–2 years of relevant experience in estimating.
• Willingness to learn and develop estimating skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Collation & review of tender documents to gain a solid project understanding.
• Measurement of drawings using CAD & traditional methods.
• Obtain site-specific quotations from partners and subcontractors.
• Coordinate site visits to understand logistics and constraints.
• Prepare bills of quantities/schedules of rates for client submissions.
• Present tenders for adjudication with senior management.
• Attend client meetings to discuss projects and tenders and negotiate sums.
