Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Trainee Commercial Assistant in Winsford. The role offers a structured training path within a growing construction business and provides exposure to estimating, costing and tendering processes.

You will work from scaled drawings to support pricing, take-offs, and quotations, using Excel and Masterpiece or similar software. On-the-job training will develop your career while you contribute to securing new business.

Qualifications

• Background using CAD software.
• Looking for office-based role with training.
• commutable to Winsford.

Responsibilities

• Work with scaled drawings to complete measurements and take-offs.
• Produce pricing and costing information using Excel-based pricing matrices.
• Prepare and issue accurate quotations to clients and customers.
• Support the Commercial Manager with tenders and new business opportunities.
• Use drawing take-off software such as Masterpiece or equivalent.
• Produce cost-effective plans and solutions based on project requirements.
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Work hours: Mon-Thu 8:30am-5:00pm, Fri 8:30am-4:00pm.
