Job summary

Apprentify is partnering with a UK clean energy supplier to hire a Business Development Manager who can thrive remotely, with occasional meetups in Manchester. The role focuses on rapid early wins, high-volume demos, and shaping opportunities within a structured sales system.

You will learn the energy market quickly, progress opportunities alongside senior Enterprise Directors, and build momentum in your second or third sales role. Base salary £45k-£50k with £40k-£50k OTE and ample room to grow.

Qualifications

• Second or third sales role, on an upward trajectory.
• Highly coachable and able to operate within a structured sales system.
• Hungry to speak with many customers and uncover pain points.
• Curious by nature and able to ask insightful questions.
• No energy industry experience required; eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Run a high volume of customer demos and conversations, especially in the first 100 days.
• Use conversations to surface gaps and turn them into larger opportunities.
• Work within an established sales system and platform.
• Learn the energy market quickly with training provided.
• Advance opportunities with pace and commercial instinct alongside senior Directors.
