Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking a Junior Employment Solicitor (NQ–1 Year PQE) for its Stockport area office. The role offers early client exposure, one-to-one training from a City-trained solicitor and a clear path to develop expertise in Employment Law.

You will join a small, dynamic practice based in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport, with close collaboration from senior lawyers and hands-on learning from day one.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
• Experience or strong interest in Employment Law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage a caseload with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on a range of employment law matters.
• Assisting with both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision and support.
• Drafting correspondence, contracts, settlement agreements and other legal documentation.
• Conducting legal research and providing clear, commercially focused advice.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Working towards practical and commercial solutions for clients.
• Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Supporting the wider team as required.
