Qualifications

• Newly Qualified Solicitor with experience in Employment Law.
• Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to advise clients directly.
• Commercial awareness with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive and ambitious with drive to develop legal expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercially focused employment law advice to business clients.
• Advise on disciplinary matters, grievances, discrimination, redundancies and TUPE.
• Draft, review and negotiate settlement agreements and related documentation.
• Respond to pre-litigation correspondence and advise on potential legal risks.
• Gain exposure to wider commercial and civil law matters including contracts and data protection.
• Manage own caseload and build strong client relationships.
• Provide practical, solution-focused advice via telephone and email.
