Job summary

Cicor Hartlepool Ltd is seeking a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to learn and apply manufacturing processes for PCBA, sub-assemblies and box builds. You will support NPI and legacy lines, collaborate on design for manufacturability, and contribute to lean waste reduction and safety compliance.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to solve technical challenges, implement improvements, and develop expertise in electronic manufacturing processes and equipment, including on‑the‑job training in

Qualifications

HNC preferred in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical.
Problem-solving and analytical skills with innovative solutions.
Effective communication and collaboration across functions.
Awareness of regulatory requirements for electronic manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, developing, refining and optimizing manufacturing processes for PCBA, sub assemblies and box builds, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
Support design for manufacturability (DFM) with customers and lean principles to reduce waste.
Learn and apply Six Sigma, Kaizen and other continuous improvement methods to improve processes.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive safe, compliant, high‑quality output in a Hartlepool facility.
