Job summary

Cicor Hartlepool Ltd in Hartlepool, UK, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to oversee manufacturing processes for PCBA, sub-assemblies and box builds, and to help supervise a team of engineers and technicians toward production targets.

You will implement Lean, drive continuous improvement, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with quality standards, and act as a technical leader in electronic manufacturing in the absence of the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing with supervisory/leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of SMT, PCB assembly, box build and process capability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, refine, and optimize manufacturing processes for PCBA, sub assemblies and box builds.
• Collaborate with customers on manufacturability and design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Implement Lean manufacturing to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Lead and develop the manufacturing engineering team to meet production targets.
• Drive continuous improvement and quality through cross-functional collaboration.
