Ernest Gordon Recruitment is looking for a Junior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) in Dalkeith. The role offers a salary of £36,000–£41,000 with overtime that can push earnings to around £51k, plus double days and training opportunities.

You will join a large industrial environment, working on bespoke equipment, with ongoing PLC training and development through shadowing experienced Engineers.

Qualifications

• Junior/Trainee Maintenance Engineer with an electrical background.

Responsibilities

• Performing reactive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Working on 3-phase motors, drives, sensors, and PLC fault finding.
• Ongoing training through shadowing experienced Engineers.
• Shift pattern: Monday–Thursday 6am–2pm; 2pm–11pm; Fridays 6am–2pm / 2pm–6pm.
