Ernest Gordon Recruitment is assisting a market-leading vegetable processing facility in Cockburnspath, Scotland to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. You will maintain production machinery, diagnose faults, and support continuous operation on a 4 on, 4 off pattern.

The role offers a starting salary of 47,000 to 57,000 with overtime, plus structured training and clear career progression within a forward-thinking engineering team.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance engineer or similar background.
• Experience in manufacturing environments (FMCG/food production) preferred.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
• Day shift: 6am to 6pm.
• Overtime opportunities and ongoing training.
