They provide high-quality, comprehensive Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, and Environmental engineering solutions for a broad range of projects, including large new builds, renovations, fit-outs, and bespoke environmental designs that enhance building efficiency across sectors such as commercial, education, leisure, entertainment, mixed-use, residential, and shopping centers.

They are seeking to add a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to their busy team in Bexley.

Responsibilities include:

• Electrical services design, including LV design such as cable sizing, lighting, lighting controls, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and security systems.
• Preparation and development of concept, feasibility, and detailed design proposals, including specifications, drawings, and calculations.
• Using DIALux lighting and Amtech electrical software.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, with some knowledge of Revit or a willingness to learn.
• MS Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
• Good communication skills for meetings with clients, design team members, and contractors.
• Strong technical expertise in electrical building services design, gained through experience in the UK building services industry, either in a consultancy or contractor role.
• Knowledge of UK design legislation and guidance.

Knowledge & Experience required:

• 1-3 years of electrical services design experience.
• Knowledge of DIALux and Amtech software.
• HNC/HND in building services or electrical engineering, or equivalent degree.
• High standard of written and verbal English.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages.
