Job summary

Skilled Careers is assisting a London-based, independent building services consultancy to recruit a Junior Electrical Engineer with up to two years’ post-graduate experience. The role offers early responsibility with direct mentoring from senior engineers.

You will work on electrical design across power, lighting, LV distribution, fire alarm and emergency lighting, with site visits, drawing coordination and specifications.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Up to two years’ experience in a building services consultancy or contractor design team. Strong graduates are also welcome.
• Working knowledge of BS 7671, or a strong desire to learn it.
• Curiosity, attention to detail and ambition to grow.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design across power, lighting, LV distribution, fire alarm and emergency lighting, security and data.
• Carry out calculations in Amtech and Dialux/Relux.
• Coordinate drawings, contribute to specifications and attend site visits.

I’m working with a highly regarded, independent building services consultancy in London to find a Junior Electrical Engineer with up to two years’ post-graduate experience.

They’re a small team of senior engineers with a big portfolio. Their projects include landmark commercial towers, cultural buildings and financial headquarters in the UK and internationally. Almost all of their work comes from repeat clients.
