The role involves building models in Stata/Python/R, handling large datasets, and preparing client-ready deliverables while developing technical and consulting skills in a globally recognised firm.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in economics (BSc/BA) from a well-regarded institution.
• Strong microeconomics foundation; industrial economics focus preferred.
• High numeracy and comfort with data manipulation; econometric techniques desirable.
• Curious and analytical thinkers with creative approaches to non-standard problems.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills and programming languages.
• Demonstrated initiative and leadership; strong teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential issues and conduct analyses to illustrate economic arguments.
• Assemble evidence from data and research supporting expert opinions and recommendations.
• Program, build models and perform regressions in Stata, Python or R; handle large data projects with cloud computing.
• Assist in developing and presenting client deliverables, including expert reports and white papers.
• Communicate complex economic concepts clearly to clients and non-experts.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of analyses and opinions; participate in practice-building activities.
