Job summary

Charles River Associates seeks an entry-level Consulting Associate in London to work with senior economists on major European competition cases. You will identify issues, assemble data-driven evidence, and model economic relationships using Stata, Python or R.

You will help prepare client deliverables and present findings clearly to non-experts. This role offers extensive training, mentoring, and opportunities to contribute to high-profile matters while progressing toward broader practice

Qualifications

• Postgraduate economics degree with strong microeconomics foundation.
• Numeracy and data manipulation skills required; econometrics desirable.
• Interest in consulting and ability to learn new tools quickly.

Responsibilities

• Identify issues and conduct analyses to illustrate economic arguments.
• Gather evidence from data and research to support opinions and recommendations.
• Program and build models; perform regression analyses in Stata/Python/R.
• Assist in developing client deliverables and expert reports.
• Communicate complex concepts to non-experts and collaborate with teams.
