Job summary

Charles River Associates in London is seeking a Senior Associate to contribute to high-profile competition cases, shaping economic analysis and client deliverables. You will work with senior consultants on project teams and support the development of expert reports.

You will supervise research staff, develop models in Stata/Python/R, and present findings to clients. Minimal travel is required, with interviews commencing after application close.

Qualifications

• PhD in economics with focus on Applied Microeconomics/Applied Microeconometrics.
• Experience with Excel, Stata, Python, R, SQL and cloud computing.
• Strong ability to explain economic/financial concepts and quantitative methods.

Responsibilities

• Identify and conceptualise issues, specify econometric models and manage staff.
• Supervise, train and mentor research staff.
• Develop and present client deliverables including expert reports and white papers.
• Act as primary contact for lawyers and clients on practice-relevant issues.
• Program and build models in statistical tools and manage large data projects.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of analyses and contribute to firm development.
