The Opportunity

Our team (www.arup.com/dyna) supports Arup’s commitment to improving the world by developing market-leading tools that enable us and our clients to solve challenging engineering problems. Our Oasys LS-DYNA Environment software is used in automotive, nuclear, civil engineering, aerospace, seismic, nuclear, geotechnical, structural, and product design applications, primarily for vehicle crashworthiness modeling and testing.

Remit:

1. Collaborate in an agile environment to enhance our desktop applications: PRIMER, D3PLOT, T/HIS, and REPORTER.
2. Design, code, write automated tests, perform quality assurance, document new features, and maintain existing code.
3. Provide technical support to customers, addressing their queries and issues.

Is this role right for you?

We’re looking for candidates with:

• A BA or MA in Engineering, Maths, Physics, or Computer Science (2.1 or above or equivalent).
• A strong background in mathematics.
• Experience in software development or engineering simulation.
• Knowledge of C or Fortran.
• A desire to combine technical knowledge with desktop software development.
