Job summary

Debenhams Group is seeking a fashion designer to join the central Manchester office, focusing on boohooMAN collections. You will work from concept through to completion, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and customer expectations.

The role requires collaboration with Design, Buying and QC teams, plus travel as needed. Ideal candidates will have strong Illustrator/Indesign/Photoshop skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in garment design and construction within a fast-paced,

Qualifications

Experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Willingness to travel as required.
Confidence in garment design and construction.
Excellent eye for detail and fabric/color understanding.
Good communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Design, Buying and QC teams to develop the assortment and collection.
From concept to completion, align priorities and direction.
Monitor trends and customer behaviours to inform designs.
Prepare and present research and newness for development.
Ensure designs cater to boohooMAN customer groups.
Monitor sales trends and identify new selling opportunities.
Assist with fitting of samples with QC and Buying.
Collaborate with Buying team to drive product development.
Manage fabric and trim sourcing packs and supplier relationships.
