Pivotal London Ltd in Bishop's Stortford area is looking for a Junior CAD Technician who enjoys design and wants to contribute ideas beyond a brief. You will work across commercial office design projects from initial space planning through to delivery, with mentoring from the Head of Projects & Technical Services.

You will produce accurate 2D drawings, space plans and 3D visuals, visit sites for measured surveys, and help coordinate services.

Qualifications

• Confident with AutoCAD and ideally AutoCAD Architecture.
• Attention to detail and spatial awareness.

Responsabilités

• Create furniture layouts, fit-out plans and 3D visuals for client proposals.
• Visit buildings to carry out measured surveys and check existing plans.
• Support layouts for lighting, power, data and other building services.
• Keep drawings and project files organised and up to date.
• Bring your own ideas to briefs, suggesting alternative layouts and creative ways to make spaces work better.

Want to build your CAD skills while getting involved in real commercial design and fit-out projects? Our client is growing its project delivery business and is looking for a Junior CAD Technician who enjoys design, has an eye for detail and wants to contribute ideas rather than simply follow a brief.

The Opportunity

• Work across exciting commercial office design and fit-out projects, from initial space planning through to delivery.
• Gain experience across both a growing projects business and an established serviced-office portfolio.
• Receive hands-on mentoring from the Head of Projects & Technical Services, with opportunities to develop your technical and design skills.

Your Profile

• Confident using AutoCAD, ideally AutoCAD Architecture.
• A good eye for detail, spatial awareness and accurate drawing work.
• Organised, personable and keen to learn in a collaborative team.
• SketchUp experience would be a bonus, but isn't essential.
