Polkadotfrog is assisting an Ipswich-based employer in recruiting a CAD Technician. The role focuses on producing high-quality technical drawings within a collaborative team, with opportunities for career development and progression.

You will support colleagues during busy periods, ensure accuracy and contribute ideas in team discussions, while liaising with clients and internal stakeholders on drawing reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD drawing software is required.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.

Day to day responsibilities

• Producing technical drawings
• Checking and processing drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and clients
• Reading, interpreting and working from architectural drawings
• Supporting general technical administration as required and contributing ideas in team discussions

If you have experience within construction or architecture, this would be ideal!

Key Skills

• Basic-level CAD experience
• The ability to read and understand architectural drawings
• Excellent spelling, grammar and computer literacy
• A good understanding of construction specifications, survey reports and technical drawings
