Job summary

Aztec Financial Services (UK) Limited is seeking a proactive assistant to support the day-to-day depositary services operations. Reporting to the Depositary Manager, you will help with fund record keeping, asset confirmations, reconciliations and routine queries.

You will work with Excel and eFront, develop through the Aztec Academy, and benefit from a discretionary bonus, hybrid working, and pension. A career with our client-centric team awaits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with record-keeping of funds and fund structures.
• Assist with depositary matters, including asset confirmation, reconciliation and proofing of holdings and ad-hoc requests.
• Assist with completion of routine depositary queries.
• Prepare periodic cash reconciliations and provide supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate records on eFront and Microsoft Excel working papers for depositary procedures.

About the role:

Reports to Depositary Manager. The purpose of this position is to assist with the routine day-to-day functions of the Aztec depositary services offering under the direction of a Depositary Manager.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with all aspects of the record keeping of funds and associated fund structures
• Assist with all aspects of depositary matters, including the preparation of asset confirmation, reconciliation and proofing of investment holdings and ad-hoc depositary requests
• Assist with the completion of routine depositary queries
• Prepare periodic cash reconciliations and provide or source supporting documentation evidencing transactions
• Maintain accurate records on eFront and Microsoft Excel working paper schedules for all aspects of depositary procedure

Skills, knowledge, expertise:

• The candidate will have the opportunity to study towards a relevant professional qualification

• Computer literacy skills are essential
