Job Description:

We are seeking a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our leading dental clinic in London. Located in Golders Green, NW11, we offer a salary of £15 per hour with overtime rates varying. Our clinic operates 24 hours a day, providing expert dental care for over 42 years, specializing in complex cases such as dental trauma, root canals, extractions, and wisdom tooth pain. We serve patients across Hampstead, Hendon, St. John’s Wood, Belsize Park, West Hampstead, Kilburn, Edgware, Watford, and Golders Green.

As one of the few clinics open on weekends, we are committed to delivering world-class dentistry whenever needed. Our team comprises highly skilled, UK-qualified dentists dedicated to providing rapid pain relief and expert treatment. Your Role

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will assist our dentists, hygienists, and therapists in delivering high-quality care. Your responsibilities include:

• Working in a fast-paced and rewarding clinical environment.
• Following the British Association of Dental Nurses’ Code of Ethics and the GDC’s Scope of Practice.
• Building strong, professional relationships within the dental team.
• Ensuring high standards of infection control and patient safety.
• Liaising with the practice manager regarding administration, pay, and service conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining a clean, well-equipped clinical environment.
• Carrying out infection prevention and control procedures.
• Recording dental charting and oral tissue assessments accurately.
• Maintaining detailed, up-to-date patient records securely.
• Preparing patients and equipment for dental radiography and processing radiographs.
• Supporting and reassuring patients during their treatment.
• Providing oral health advice to patients.
• Assisting in emergency situations to ensure patient safety and care.

What We’re Looking For

• Right to work in the UK (Valid visa & National Insurance number).
• At least the first dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine.
• Proof of enrollment in an approved dental nursing course.
